Her latest book, How to Read the Constitutionand Why (Harper Collins), is a guide to constitutional basics, combining a plain-language reading of the Constitution with an introduction to policy rationales and theory.&nbsp;</p> <p>Wehle teaches and writes on the separation of powers, federal jurisdiction, outsourcing government, and the federal administrative state. She is a lawyer, legal analyst for CBS News, and contributor to BBC World News. She is also an op-ed contributor for the Hill and the Bulwark, a commentator on NPRs Morning Edition, and speaks on issues relating to constitutional and legal literacy on cable networks and at live events.</p> <p>Wehle is currently working on What You Need to Know About the Right to Voteand Why (Harper Collins, 2020). As an attorney, she counsels clients on issues of civil procedure, appellate practice, and administrative law. She will serve as a visiting professor of law at the American University Washington College of Law in spring 2020.</p> <p>Wehles talk will be at <a href="/events/constitution_day_lecture_how_to_read_the_constition_and_why_with_kimberly_wehle">12:15 p.m. Monday, September 16</a>, in Dye Lecture Hall in the 厙ぴ勛圖 Science Center. Join us for the 20th annual Dr. Seuss Day Celebration at the 厙ぴ勛圖 Public Library. Its a Seussical celebration of reading for the whole family.</p> <p>Dr. Seuss Day will be celebrated Sunday, March 3, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at the 厙ぴ勛圖 Public Library, 65 N. Main St. The event is free, and all ages are welcome to attend.</p> <p>This annual celebration of Dr. Seusss whimsical writings is hosted by America Reads and the Bonner Center for Service and Learning. The 厙ぴ勛圖 Public Library will be bursting with games, crafts, stories, performancesall of the Seussical things you can imagine. Every child who attends will receive a free book and will have the opportunity to sign up for a library card.</p> <p>This event is sponsored by the 厙ぴ勛圖 College chapter of America Reads at the Bonner Center for Service and Learning. America Reads is a part of a national community service work-study tutoring program started by the Clinton Administration in 1996. The program connects college students with 厙ぴ勛圖 children to help improve their literacy skills and find joy in reading.
