Next generation of musical theater training

At ���سԹ�, you’ll move through an intensive curriculum designed to prepare you for a career on Broadway and beyond. That’s because you’ll develop expertise in dance, voice, and acting, along with specialty training in audition technique, on-camera acting, and Shakespeare. You’ll have a minimum of six semesters of acting, six semesters of music theater workshop, five days of dance per week, and a weekly one-hour private voice lesson. ���سԹ� Music Theater is connected to a prestigious conservatory and run by world-class faculty who are music theater experts and professionals working in the industry. 

Get on stage early and often

���سԹ� Music Theater is undergraduate-focused, which means you’re auditioning for the entire season beginning your first semester; performance experience is a critical component of your training. With 11 performance venues on campus, the opportunities to showcase your talent are unmatched. Off campus, you’ll connect to regional professional theaters through ���سԹ�’s partnership with Great Lakes Theater and its sister companies Idaho Shakespeare Festival and the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. In addition, ���سԹ� co-produces an annual musical with Beck Center for the Arts, a highly respected regional theater close to campus. With these partnerships, you can audition, understudy, and perform during your time here, helping you fulfill the Actors' Equity Association requirement before you graduate.
