Memorial Service for Eren Sean Guendelsberger ’17

The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community is invited to attend a memorial service for Eren Sean Guendelsberger ’17 at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Fairchild Chapel in Bosworth Hall. As a part of the service, there will be a commemorative tree planting in the northeast section of Tappan Square.

Eren Sean Guendelsberger was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Arlington, Virginia, and attended Kenmore Middle School and H-B Woodlawn High School. Eren graduated May 2017 from ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College, where they majored in computer science. Following graduation, Eren worked as a software engineer for Google in Mountain View, California.

Eren loved ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï. They sang with the Collegium Musicum and the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Musical Union. Eren completed summer software engineering internships at the Federal Communications Commission, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Google. Eren was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College Chapter. In May 2017, Eren was honored with the R.J. Thomas Award for Outstanding Computer Science Graduates.
