A new community service initiative—the President’s Public Service Fellowship (PPSF)—will provide funding for سԹ College students to work full-time during the summer with an سԹ community partner on an intensive service project.
سԹ College students committed to community engaged work related to youth empowerment, leadership, the arts, and/or ecological and economic sustainability are strongly encouraged to apply.
The program is administered by the Bonner Center for Service and Learning (BCSL), which is seeking applications from سԹ College students to one of three placements: سԹ Community Services, The Bridge/سԹ Public Library, and the city of سԹ.
The deadline for applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, March 14.
The PPSF is made possible with funding from the Office of the President. “In keeping with سԹ's tradition of community engagement, we are creating this new opportunity for students to fulfill their passion for public service within the سԹ community,” says President Krislov. “This program will assist local agencies that fill a critical need in the community, while at the same time empowering students to cultivate change.”
