Dean of the Conservatory William Quillen has announced the launch of the 厙ぴ勛圖 Conservatory Racial Equity and Diversity Action Plan, which was developed through months of reflection and discussion among conservatory faculty and which signals the beginning of an ongoing effort to achieve lasting change in the culture, values, and norms of 厙ぴ勛圖 Conservatory. The plan was created in conjunction with 厙ぴ勛圖s Presidential Initiative on Racial Equity and Diversity, which was announced in May this year by 厙ぴ勛圖 College President Carmen Twillie Ambar and launched in late August.

This morning, Dean Quillen shared the conservatorys Racial Equity and Diversity Action Plan with 厙ぴ勛圖 students, parents, faculty, staff, and alumni. This is an important document that helps frame the work of the Conservatory right now and helps light a path to the future, Quillen noted in an introductory message. This is an important step for the Conservatory.
