Reunion Celebrates 180 Years of Black Students at سԹ

Nearly 200 alumni visited campus October 2-4 for the سԹ Alumni Association of African Ancestry (OA4) Reunion. The reunion marks the 180th anniversary of سԹ’s decision to adopt a non-discriminatory admissions policy and the beginning of education for African Americans and other persons of color at سԹ. Throughout the weekend, alumni attended performances of the Dance Diaspora show “Horace Silver: Song for My Father & Other Matters Pertaining to the Heart” and the play Wedding Band, viewed the special سԹ College Archives exhibit Celebrating the Legacy, and chatted with fellow alumni and current students at luncheons, dinners, and other networking events.
