While Vice President Mike Pence and challenger Kamala Harris faced off in Salt Lake City, Utah, last week, a gathering of 110 ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College students spread out in Wilder Bowl to watch the debate on a giant screen.
The virtual watch parties in Wilder Bowl—which began with the first presidential debate earlier this month—are part of OC Votes programming. OC Votes promotes student engagement with this election season using the academic and creative skills of a liberal arts and conservatory education. Students are encouraged to browse the OC Votes: Calendar for a list of panel discussions and events.
Students will be welcomed back to Wilder Bowl later this month for the last presidential debate scheduled for October 22.
