Trombone
The trombone curriculum is intense and stimulating. Coursework includes applied private study, individualized instruction, master classes, and performance opportunities that emphasize the development of technique and musicianship.

Performance Ensembles
Performance is a central component to the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï curriculum. Because of our undergraduate focus, performance majors are assured of playing opportunities in our many ensembles, including large groups like the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Orchestra as well as smaller ones like the Contemporary Music Ensemble.

Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet soloist and founder of Seraph Brass, realized at an early age that she wanted to pursue music as a career. In 2014, she moved forward with a long-standing goal of forming an all-female brass quintet, and Seraph Brass was born.
