Issue 8: Get Ready to Get Involved!

As you prepare for your arrival in ÍøÆسԹÏ, now is a great time to ask yourself two questions:
What do you hope to gain from the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community? And what do you hope to contribute?
We’re excited by the unique talents, interests, and perspectives you’ll bring to campus, and we hope you’ll want to engage with your fellow students and our community overall. Two great ways to get involved are through our student organizations and our leadership development programs, both of which are operated by the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement.
ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï is home to more than 200 student organizations that offer virtually limitless opportunities to connect with others. Whether your interests lean toward club sports, cultural or identity-themed groups, faith-based and other spiritual connections, music, politics, or something else, there’s a student org for you. Don’t see the group that quite matches what you’re looking for? Start one of your own!
Our student leadership programs help you make the most of your leadership experiences, build community with others, and make an impact—now and throughout your life.
TO DO THIS WEEK: Check out this list of student organizations to see what interests you, and learn about leadership programming options on the Student Leadership and Involvement website.
