I cant wait to spend a sweaty, thumping night at the Sco, said Ben Goldfarb 93 as he prepared to travel to 厙ぴ勛圖 with the DJ collective he founded, I Love Vinyl, for Hip Hop 101s weekendlong homage to the vinyl record on November 15 and 16.

The New York Times October 31 front-page story, Interest in the Humanities Fading, Colleges Worry, made some valid points, but gave short shrift to the purpose, health, and value of humanities in higher education. So I wrote a letter to the editor.

West Lecture Hall Renamed

The large lecture hall on the Science Centers first floor has gone by the name West Lecture Hallbecause it's on the west side of the buildingever since the center was completed in 2002. Now the room has an official namethe Nancy Schrom Dye Lecture Hall.
