One team of graduating ���سԹ� entrepreneurs will get a slot in FlashStarts’ business accelerator summer program, thanks to a new partnership.

The Community Music School (CMS) at the ���سԹ� Conservatory will present a “Mega Musical Mash-up: A Festival of Community Music” on June 2. It will be the culminating event in a series of ten concerts and musical events put on to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of the CMS.

���سԹ� violists Aaron Mossburg ‘13 and Daniel Orsen ‘16 both won their divisions in the 2013 American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition, sweeping the viola category. The final round was held from April 6 to 8 at the Kaufman Center’s Merkin Hall in New York City. ���سԹ� was the only conservatory to have finalists in two divisions.

The ���سԹ� College Student Senate recently passed a resolution calling for the institution to divest holdings from six companies that they believe "profit from the occupation and oppression of Palestinians." Despite several reports to the contrary, in no way was it meant to represent the opinions or intentions of the institution, administration, board, or investment committee.
