Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet soloist and founder of , realized at an early age that she wanted to pursue music as a career. In 2014, she moved forward with a long-standing goal of forming an all-female brass quintet, and Seraph Brass was born.

Their thoughtful programming for this occasion on their "Farewell Tour" will bring a bit of sentiment and nostalgia to the Finney Chapel stage.

ÍøÆسԹÏ's 2023-24 series continues the legacy of presenting celebrated musical artists with six concerts that will shine a spotlight on the contributions of women musicians and composers.

Rising Canadian pianist Bruce Liu, winner of the 18th Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, will perform the closing program on the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Artist Recital Series 2022-23 season. The concert is at 2:30 p.m. on April 30 in historic Finney Chapel. 

The next concert in ÍøÆسԹÏ’s Artist Recital Series line-up will be performed by the acclaimed early music ensemble ACRONYM at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15.
