���سԹ� Opera Theater’s spring production features two one-act operas with music by John Musto and librettos by Mark Campbell.

Guest Director Fenlon Lamb offers a vibrant vision of this classical opera—which tells the story of a two-sided love triangle—in ���سԹ� Opera Theater’s fall production.

“It was really amazing going into the community and performing an art form that they probably haven't seen before,” second-year voice major Ella Vaugn said, “Teachers would tell us that they've never seen their students so engaged.”

This spring, ���سԹ� Opera is set to entangle its audiences in the game of love with its production of Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera. Set in a garden, this story will intertwine love, trickery, and the art of gameplay into one. 

“He’s with me in every lesson that I teach,” Daniel Okulitch ‘99 said about former ���سԹ� voice faculty member Richard Miller (1926-2009).

The award-winning stage director joins ���سԹ� Conservatory's Voice Division, where she will teach and direct two fully-staged opera productions each academic year.

After an exhaustive international search and multi-round competition, Hanje has won first prize and $10,000 at the 36th Annual Eleanor McCollum Competition for Young Singers. She is a student of Professor Salvatore Champagne.

The ���سԹ� Opera Theater is back this fall with another social commentary comedy about finding your place in the world. The acclaimed chamber opera will be presented in four performances in ���سԹ� College’s Hall Auditorium.
