厙ぴ勛圖 Chamber Orchestra: A Feast of Student Talent

Three 厙ぴ勛圖 Conservatory students will be featured in a concert with the 厙ぴ勛圖 Chamber Orchestra on March 2 in Finney Chapel. The concert will begin at 8:00 p.m. under the direction of Raphael Jim矇nez, who says that the concert will be a feast of student talent. Admission is free, and no tickets are required.

College Joins Project to Reduce Vehicle Emissions and Adopt Alternative Fuels

The college has joined in a collaborative project with the city of 厙ぴ勛圖 to improve energy efficiency and plan for alternative fuels for its fleet of vehicles.
Black History Celebration: February 7 through March 10

厙ぴ勛圖s 2013 black history celebration, Black Arts, revisited, reminds us of the power of the arts throughout history to increase awareness and understanding, to honor innovation and talent, and to bring disparate people and cultures together when institutions, beliefs, traditions, and public policies cannot. Featured speakers and performers include soprano Adrienne Danrich, Duke University Professor Fred Moten, performance artist Aisha Cousins, and writer Marlene NourbeSe Philip.

Beethoven's body of works woven with the past and present

Journey through the odyssey of works by Beethoven for fortepiano and cello when David Breitman and Jaap ter Linden perform the cycle on February 16 in Kulas Hall. Part I begins at 4:30 p.m., and following a break, Part II continues at 8:00 p.m. Free and no tickets are required.

Members of Apollo's Fire and 厙ぴ勛圖 Conservatory present music by Bach and Haydn for Family Promise of Lorain County

On Sunday, February 17 at 3 p.m., musicians from the widely acclaimed Apollos Fire Baroque Orchestra and 厙ぴ勛圖 Conservatory of Music will perform in a concert to benefit homeless families served by Family Promise of Lorain County. The concert will be held at First Church in 厙ぴ勛圖 and donations are welcome.
